You may notice that we have the Company working hours and Personal working hours. In this knowledge base, we would explain the difference between the Company and Personal working hours.

Company Working Hours:
-By default, when calculating the attendance, like Ansent, Late, Leave Early and Short Working Hours we would refer to Company Working Hours.

Personal Working Hours:
-Let's say your company's working hours are Mon - Fri 8.00 am - 6.00 pm.
-And some employees may have different working hours: Mon - Fri 9.00 am - 5.00 pm, Sat 9.00 am - 12.30 pm
-In this case, you have to update the personal working hours. So when the app calculating the attendance record, we would count based on the Personal Working Hours.

-To learn how to update the Company Working Hours, you may go to EasyWork - Attendance -Update employee's personal working hours

Scenario:
Company Working Hours:
-Mon - Fri 8.00 am - 6.00 pm

Employee XXX is worked based on the company working hours.

Employee YYY has different working hours, so admin set his personal working hours to
-Mon - Fri 9.00 am - 5.00 pm,
-Sat 9.00 - 12.30 pm

So, employee XXX has to clock in at 8.00 am and clock out at 6.00 pm to consider "Good  Attendance".

The employee YYY has to clock in at 9.00 am and clock out at 5.00 pm. He needs to work on Sat too. If he misses out the clock in on Sat, he would be considered as "Absent". While, employee XXX wouldn't consider as "Absent" and he would fall under the category "Non Working Day".
